Empowering Cancer Patients Through Art

I AM proud to offer specialized tattoo cover-up services for clients impacted by cancer, by providing beautiful and empowering designs at discounted or flat-rate pricing. We believe that tattoos can be a powerful tool for healing and self-expression, helping individuals reclaim their bodies and confidence after surgery/treatment.

To make these services more accessible, we’ve created a donation program where anyone can contribute toward covering the cost of these meaningful tattoos.

For every donation received, I will match the amount, doubling the impact and ensuring more survivors can receive high-quality, transformative artwork. Whether you’re looking to give or receive, this initiative is about community, compassion, and the power of art to restore confidence. If you or a loved one are interested in getting a tattoo or if you’d like to contribute to someone’s journey, please see below —we’d love to be part of this next step in your healing.

Client Testimonial

“Part of our healing from cancer is internal, and the other part of it is external. As survivors, we’re trying to bring ourselves back into some sort of balance after facing a great deal of pain and invasive treatment, and we’re also learning how to live in bodies that have been altered without our desire.

Jess took me on as a client after I’d had multiple cancer surgeries and was navigating a vastly reconfigured body with some serious scarring. After I’d healed enough for tattooing to be safe, Jess worked with me with great compassion and incredible artistry to create coverup tattoos that not only hid my scars, but that allowed me to decorate myself with botanicalimages that were deeply meaningful. Family and friends gathered together to fund my tattoos as a recovery gift, and in return, I chose symbols that represented each of them. Now, when I catch sight of my surgery scars, I see Jess’s tattoos of the beautiful boreal forest of northern Alberta where I live, full of energy and healing, reminding me of all those who helped me to survive cancer.

We’d like to pay this gift of healing forward through this scar coverup fund for cancer survivors. Often, we have to travel for our surgeries and treatments, lose time from our jobs (or lose our jobs altogether), and have to find additional child care when we’re too ill to cope. Being able to pay for coverup tattoos is out of the question for many survivors. With this fund, we hope to help with that: to assist cancer survivors in accessing skilled coverup tattoos and all the personal healing that incredible artwork can bring.”
